Did you know that manatees (also sometimes referred to as "sea cows") are thought to have inspired mermaid legends? Christopher Columbus caught a glimpse of three mermaids during his journey to America, noting that “they are not so beautiful as they are said to be, for their faces had some masculine traits.” This graceful manatee is 16" and can be purchased pre-stuffed for immediate play, or unstuffed for a fun craft experience! Please note this plush does have button eyes that may be a choking hazard for younger kids. We recommend this plush for ages 3 and up.
